Spilled milk! (vector drawing) by KillerfishSG Spilled milk! (vector drawing) by KillerfishSG
It's done! A frontal view of the panel when Stephane mentions the "K" word and startles Katia, spilling her milk: www.prequeladventure.com/this/…

Best vector drawing I've done so far :D

This is amazing. I was reading the comments and now I really want Adobe Illustrator. Unfortunately, I do not have money. :)

I'm sorry to hear that :C I don't know how much Illustrator costs because it was given to me for my course of study, otherwise I would tell you the price! Thanks btwMeow :3

Yeah, It's a subscribed service at $20 a month. You get it free if you're a student, but I'm not an art student. That's fine though, I'm just doing this as a hobby for now. ;)

This might be of interest to you.

I've never used it myself, but apparently Inkscape is quite good.

Thanks for the watch:D (Big Grin) I did a sketch on paper first, and inserted in into Adobe Illustrator to trace out the drawing. Then I copied the lineart into Photoshop to color the whole drawing

Well, this is fantastic.
I've got to ask,  how did you get the lines as smooth and clean as they are?
The closest I could get to lines like yours is by using SAI.
Also, I'm not a better artist than you. The above image is clear evidence of that. But thanks a lot any way :D

Thank you! :happybounce: I used Adobe Illustrator to draw the whole outline out before copying it to Photoshop, which I then proceeded to colour it. The reason why this came out well is probably because I spent a lot of time making it look right.  I only started drawing like a few weeks ago, (I still don't know how to do shading :| (Blank Stare) ) and still have a lot to learn. Also, I don't have the right tools to draw (no tablet). You are definitely a better artist than I am! :D (Big Grin)

Well,  you can do more with Illustrator than I can. I'm still figuring out the interface and what the various buttons do.
And the extra time spent on it really paid off.
There's just one little observation that I think you should know about.
The stroke around Katias head,  arms and some other areas appears to be slightly brighter than the rest of the lineart.
It's practically unnoticeable from a distance but when zoomed in, the areas where the 'black lineart' meets the 'dark grey' lineart is noticeable.
As I said, practically unnoticeable. I just thought you might like to know about it.

Yes, I knew about that problem after I submitted this. I couldn't change the color of the lineart for some areas because the "colour swatch" button became unclickable for some unknown reason, resulting in some weird combination of dark grey and black. Sweating a little...  Will take note of that in the next art piece I do! Hopefully that problem doesn't occur again..

KillerfishSG, I think you are a bigger fan of Prequel than me, and that's saying something - plus you've got artistic talent!  Favorited, added to my growing Prequel wallpaper list, etc. etc.  And now I gotta Watch you.  Other than my skyrim mods. I got no talent so you wont see much from me here, but I'll be keeping an eye out on you now!

Thanks for the fav and watch! I wouldn't think of myself as having artistic talent, as there are better artists like AMKITSUNE and I draw katia because I enjoy doing so. La la la la  I'm still quite new to using softwares to draw, and I take a lot of time making Katia look "right", so you may have to wait for quite a while for my next art piece Sweating a little... Thanks again for the fav and watch! :D (Big Grin)
